About the Rock Climbers

The AG Rock Climbers Box Lacrosse Organization was founded with a clear purpose: to build athletes who strive for greatness on the floor and in life. Rooted in the mission of Athletes Goal—helping lacrosse athletes become their best version through lacrosse, personal development, and mindset training—the Rock Climbers are more than just on-field training and gameplay

Why “Rock Climbers”?

  • Rock – A tribute to founder Brian Cameron, who plays for the  Colorado Mammoth and formerly for the Toronto Rock in the National Lacrosse League. His experiences competing at the highest level inspire the program’s commitment to excellence and professionalism.
  • Climbers – A symbol of the Athletes Goal vision. Just as climbers are always striving to reach new heights, our athletes are encouraged to push beyond limits, overcome challenges, and continuously pursue their best selves.

Our Commitment

  • Delivering elite box lacrosse training and competition.
  • Providing personal development opportunities that foster leadership and accountability.
  • Mindset strategies that build resilience, confidence, and focus.

Why Train With The Rock Climbers?

High-Level Experience

Founder Brian Cameron has played at the highest levels of box lacrosse in the NLL and is the only active New England forward in the league.

Player Development

More and more players in New England are turning to box lacrosse to elevate their field game. Our program takes that to the next level by using the speed, skill, and constant action of box to develop athletes into more skilled field players by focusing on concepts that will translate.

Personal Development

Off-the-field personal development and mindset skills are often overlooked, yet they are essential to becoming the best version of yourself. That is why we weave the Athletes Goal curriculum and resources into our training to provide the best player development program possible.

What Is Box Lacrosse?

Box lacrosse is an indoor version of lacrosse played in a rink, with 4×4 ft 9-inch nets, artificial turf, and hockey-style boards. Teams consist of six players at a time, including the massive padded goalie. The 30-second shot clock makes the game fast-paced and physical. The smaller playing surface emphasizes high reps, quick decision-making, and creativity in tight spaces.

Benefits of Box Lacrosse:

  • Improves stick skills due to the tight space and more reps.
  • Enhances decision-making: Limited time and space force players to make quick decisions under pressure.
  • Improved shooting and finishing ability: The small goal and bigger goalie force pinpoint accuracy.
  • Playing with others on and off the ball: Playing 2 and 3-man games with and without the ball is a crucial part of the game.
  • Transfers to field lacrosse: The speed, stick protection, and IQ learned indoors directly translate into better all-around play outdoors.

What Is Athletes Goal?

At Athletes Goal, we specialize in services tailored for individual lacrosse athletes, focusing on lacrosse, mindset, and personal development training. Athletes undergo rigorous physical training from the field to the weight room. Along with lacrosse, we emphasize the other aspects that are often neglected for achieving peak performance.
